Tamworth Ladies 1st team were unlucky not to gain any points with a solid performance against Edgbaston this week. Throughout the game, Tamworth controlled much of the play, working excellently as a team across the pitch. Sarah Arnold had an outstanding game, converting majority of any Edgbaston attacks in to a counter attack before any real threat was incurred. Nicky Youngman also made some crucial saves in goal on the occasions an Edgbaston forward slipped through defence.
Tamworth will be disappointed with the end result of this game, however should be pleased with the performance they gave and take that forward to convert some goals against Leek next week. |
