| Match Report | The ladies thirds played local rivals Atherstone in this friendly match on Saturday. Tamworth's experience showed against a young Atherstone team as they ran out comfortable winners. The town side passed the ball around nicely with Sarah Price having an excellent game on the right, Tamworth took the lead through Becky Busby before Atherstone scored with a well struck goal, but the town side took control scoring four times to give them a 5-1 half time lead. Tamworth added three more to their tally in the second but were indebted to keeper Janet Nash who made three excellent saves to keep Atherstone out.
