Tamworth Men's Seconds Vs Wednesbury

Tamworth’s Second XI would secure safety in West Midlands Division 1 if they could ensure victory against fellow strugglers Wednesbury on Saturday afternoon. Tamworth started strong and dominated play and were unfortunate not to take the lead after a run of short corners. Into the second half Tamworth rode their luck a little as Wednesbury edged back into the game but some fine defensive play from Dan Rhodes, Keith Rourke and Nick Pound kept them at bay.
