Match Report | The ladies thirds secured a vital win on Saturday with an excellent performance to beat Bloxwich. Tamworth started brightly controlling the play from midfield creating a number of chances, Vicky Badger-Butler opened the scoring from close range before Bloxwich equalised from their first attack. Although the town side continued to dominate it wasn’t until the final minute of the half that Tamworth retook the lead with Vicky Badger-Butler getting her second. The town side pushed on in the second half with Anne Marshall, Claire Miles and Leah Smith all going close to increasing the lead before player of the match Leah Smith scored with a fine individual effort. Bloxwich added a second late on.
