Tamworth Ladies Thirds Vs Lichfield 5

Tamworth were pegged back in their half from the start and despite several fine saves from GK Butler the home side were soon 2-0 down. Gradually, Tamworth got back into the game and had a couple of chances the best one from Foxley hitting the post and Bravington then having a follow up tap in cleared off the line by a Lichfield defender. Lichfield then went back on the attack and scored a 3rd just before half time. The 2nd half started and once again the Tamworth defence were  under a lot of pressure and conceded several short corners. However, lots of last ditch tackles especially from MOM Warburton and fine clearances by the whole of the defence kept the score the same.
