| Match Report | The ladies seconds lost their first game in five with a disappointing performance against Bridgenorth on Saturday. It was Bridgenorth who started the game brightly as the town side struggled to find their normal rythmn to their game with Bridgenorth taking an early 2-0 lead. Tamworth settled a little but were unable to create many goal scoring opportunities and on the stroke of half time Bridgenorth converted a penalty to go into the break 3-0 up. Tamworth started the second session positively as Kirsty Brown pulled a goal back following some good build up play from Elaine Foxley and Claire Miles. The town side tried to build on this but just couldn't find a way through and Bridgenorth added two more goals to run out comfortable winners. PoM Kirsty Brown |
