The ladies seconds suffered a heartbreaking third loss of the season against top of the table Phoenix Blues on Saturday, in a game that the town side dominated for long periods, a number of crucial plays went against them with phoenix blues scoring in the final five minutes to secure the win.

Tamworth started the game brightly stringing passes together and putting phoenix blues under immediate pressure, the only thing missing was the finish, with a number of short corners and chances going begging.
