Tamworth travelled to Telford for the 2nd league game of the season with several key players unavailable, we knew it was going to be a tough game. The pitch was very bouncy and Tamworth under pressure playing the majority of the half in the defensive 23 but GK Chloe Sullivan made excellent saves and we went into half time 2-0 down. The second half saw the town side dissected, we couldnt string more than 4/5 passes together and gave the ball away far too easily. A couple of Telfords goals fell nicely to them but they were more alert and focused tha Tamworth. Tamworth did have some possession towards the last third of the game and were rewarded with a couple of short corners. Tamworth need to re group and go into next weeks game more positive and eager to put right the demoraling game of this weekend.
