| Match Report | Tamworth faced an intense game against Leek. They started strong and completed some well worked passes but unfortunately could not find a goal.
Shortly before halftime a pass was intercepted by Graeme Cook who drove it forward and slotted the ball to striker Chris Lomas who calmed buried it in the bottom corner to open up the scoring.
Unfortunately just before half time, Leek equalised from a short corner to make it 1-1.

Tamworth came out fast in the second half and despite strong defensive efforts from Joe Wood, Leek scored again to put Tamworth behind. Tamworth continued to push forward but got caught on the break and Leek made it 3-1.
Tamworth pressed on and came back fighting to win a short corner that was blocked on the line to give a Penelty Flick. This was converted by Ian Wagstaff to make it level again.
Despite Tamworths best efforts, they were unsuccessful in scoring a 3rd.
