Match Report | Following two successive league defeats the ladies seconds returned to winning ways with a convincing 5-1 win against Wolves on Saturday. Tamworth started brightly keeping possession with the midfield linking up well with the forwards, although it was Wolves who almost took the lead from a breakaway attack. The town regrouped quickly and their pressure was rewarded when Claire Miles opened the scoring. Danielle Hill added a second with a brilliant deflection before Miles got her second from a short corner to go into the break 3-0 up Tamworth continued to dominate in the second session and should have added more than the two goals. Wolves scored a consolation goal before Miles completed her hat-trick, with the town saving their best goal till last, a brilliant flowing move down the left flank from Sam Bowyer and Fiona Sinclair to set up captain Kirsty Brown to fire home from the top of the 'd' to complete the rout.
