Tamworth started brightly and threatened the abbotsholme goal numerous times in the first half but couldn’t convert their chances. Jo Goode played well on the right beating players at will and pulling the ball back from the back line but the forwards were not able to connect well enough to put the ball past the keeper. No score at half time, Tamworth were not able to connect through midfield and gave the ball away too many times. Abbotsholme scored twice in quick succession from short corners late on in the second half and Claire miles received the ball in D and hammered the ball into the back of the net for a late consolation. Nadia Williams received league player of the match and Goode received players player.
