Tamworth always have a battle against Kettering and this match was no different. Tamworth had the majority of possession during the first half, passing the ball round well and being awarded several short corners but with the defensive set up around the goalkeeper made it very difficult to score. Kettering had one short corner and scored. Tamworth continued to press, created lots of space but couldn't get the equaliser before half time. The game was end to end each team having chances. Tamworth had a short corner and Gemma Rowe struck home to equalise with a straight strike into the bottom right hand corner. In reflection Tamworth should have won this game but Ketterings GK had an outstanding game to prevent Tamworth from gaining 3 points
