Match Report | Tamworth Men's Second team smashed Evesham for twelve and showed league rivals they mean business in West Midlands Division 2 this season. Evesham were not given the time to play their game as Tamworth dominated the game throughout. Tamworth were consistent in both halves scoring six either side of the break. Goals flew in from Tommy Shakespeare (5), Richard Potts (3), Phil Harvey (1), Simon Bowyer (1), Johnny Shaw (1). It was the performance of youngster Phil Harvey which especially stood out as he demonstrated exactly why the Captain continues to pick the winger this season, after making some dazzling runs down the left flank he was rewarded with a goal for himself. Tamworth will really be looking to dominate this leage from Saturday's performance, and face Barlastan away next week. |
