| Match Report | The ladies thirds won their third successive league match on Saturday with a convincing 10 2 win over local rivals Lichfield. The town side dominated the game from start to finsh playing some excellent hockey. Tamworth made the perfect start scoring in the opening minutes through a Di Milner short corner strike. Kate Barton and Kirsty Wright added to the towns score before Di Milner got her second, Lichfield pulled a goal back late in the half. The second session continued in the same vein with Tamworth mounting attack after attack, Kate Barton completed her hat trick with two well taken penalty flicks to increase the towns lead, Di Milner then completed her own hat trick with Elaine Foxley (2) and Bethan Gilbert also getting on the score sheet, Lichfield scored again but Tamworth were comfortable winners.
