Match Report | Tamworth Men's second team started their new league campaign in fine form, thrashing Kiddeminster 6-1. Tamworth will be looking to set the pace early on in a league they should be aiming to be promoted from come the end of the season. Goals in the first half flew in from Jez Holloway, Nick Rammell, and Johnny Shaw. It more the same in the second period as Holloway added his second, before Captain James Calder made it five. Kiddeminster scored a late consolation goal before youngster Phil Harvey found himself at the back post to smash home Tamworth's sixth. A fine start to the season for Tamworth, who will be looking to continue this run next week against Evesham at home. |
