Match Report | The ladies thirds completed their season with a well-earned draw against third placed Bloxwich on Saturday. Tamworth started brightly dominating the early possession. Clare Phillips and Lou Collett combined well on the left setting up a number of opportunities before the town side took the lead from a Claire Miles short corner strike. Bloxwich hadn’t threatened the town’s goal but with their only shot of the game they equalised. The town side then suffered two injuries to Di Milner and Elaine Foxley leaving the side to play the whole of the second half with only 10 players, to their credit Tamworth defended really well and attacked at every opportunity but were unable to add to their score.
