The ladies thirds completed the double over Erdington on Saturday with a comfortable 6-3 win. Tamworth made a superb start with some excellent passing moves and were 3-0 up within 15 minutes thanks to a Di Milner hat trick. The town side continued to push forward, Claire Miles saw her penalty hit the post but made amends later in the half scoring from a short corner strike giving the town a 4-0 lead at the break.
Tamworth continued to play some excellent hockey with Lou Collett and Elaine Foxley particularly influential, Di Milner added to her tally before Erdington hit back with three goals of their own to put Tamworth under a little pressure, but player of the match Di Milner but the result beyond doubt with her fifth of the game.
