Tamworth dominated in a game where the score could have reached double figures if it hadn’t been for the excellent shot stopping of the Cannock keeper. Becky Moore started the game with a bang smashing the ball into the back of the net from a well worked move that started in defence. Sophie Marshall and meg hogben worked well on the right with Marshall making some dangerous runs down the right. The game belonged to Claire miles who scored a hat trick. The first came from a well worked short corner and the other 2 were excellent individual runs that flummoxed the Cannock defence as she cut through them like a hot knife through butter. Marshall was club player of the match with miles winning league player.
