Match Report | Tamworth took all the lessons from last week and started with great passing moves on both sides of the pitch. Tamworth pushed hard and had plenty of shots but couldn’t beat the West Brom keeper. Awarded a penalty flick after great goalmouth pressure Claire miles stepped up but put the ball wide. Playing it around the back well Tamworth opened the scoring with a well struck short corner by Gemma Bradshaw following a slip ball from miles. The second followed quickly with miles making a great run down the middle and passing it past the keeper. The third came after Kirsty Wright who had a great game running all over the pitch and tackling well. 3 nil at half time Tamworth didn’t stop pushing and aimie bishop poached off the keepers pads following a great strike from miles. Youngsters Sophie Marshall and meg hogben both had strong games and Lucy plant passed the ball well around the middle. 5 nil the final score with miles getting league player and hogben and plant sharing club player. |
