Match Report | A much changed third team travelled to Keele on Saturday and came away with an excellent win. Tamworth started very brightly putting pressure on the Keele defence but although they created a number of goal scoring opportunities they were unable to finish. Keele were dangerous on the break and forced a number of short corners but these were well defended by the town side and the score remained goalless at the break. Tamworth again started the second half strongly with youngsters Rebecca Warburton, Tilly Bryan and Emily Barker combining well to set up a number of attacks, the towns pressure finally told when Bea Kinahan scored from close range, she added a second soon after with a fine individual effort before Keele pulled a goal back. Kinahan completed her first hat trick for the club with another super strike. Keele then went onto enjoy a good spell of possession scoring a second and the town side were thankful to Audrey Warburton who was outstanding at right back making numerous tackles and clearances as Tamworth held on for three valuable points.
