Tamworth started brightly with youngsters Georgia cortese, Nadia Williams and meg hogben working well on the left and battling well. Jackie Casey and Gemma Bradshaw played some excellent balls through the middle with Aimee Williams and Fiona jones running onto the ball to create numerous chances. Aldridge broke down the right and scored but Tamworth responded with a well worked goal, Casey passing the ball into the D for Aimee Williams to score past the keeper. One all at half time Aldridge started the second half strongly and quickly scored 2 goals from set pieces. Tamworth carried on battling but couldn’t convert their chances and Aldridge scored a late fourth. League player of the match was Bradshaw with Nadia Williams getting club player.
