Tamworth Ladies Firsts Vs Ashby

Tamworth were focused in wanting to keep on with their winning form against local rivaLs Ashby and throughout it was an evenly matched game both teams at times struggling to make or receive that final pass which led to counterattack’s and from one of these counterattack’s was where Tamworth got their goal.  The ball passed out from the defence, quickly into midfield, Gemma Rowe found Claire Hicks who dribbled round a couple of defenders into the ‘d’ a concise pass found Amie Bishop who found the back of the net.  Nic Youngman made a good save to keep Tamworth in the lead at half time.

Tamworth remained determined to keep the lead throughout the second half , good communication, positive team performance and  100% work rate enabled us to come out with the 3 points.
