Tamworth Ladies Firsts Vs Ashby

Tamworth went away to Ashby and started poorly, balls pinging off their sticks into the path of the opposition and bad passing led to the Ashbys 1st goal.  Tamworth settled into the game but still not at their best, tamworth equalised through open play by Gemma Rowe.  Claire Hicks then put us 2-1 up, a lovely pass from Jo Goode found Claire and a superb fine angled strike going in bottom right hand corner.

Ashby came out the strongest in the second half and with dubious short corner decisions on a couple of occasions Ashby equalised and then shortly afterwards scored their third.  Tamworth worked tirelessly but were not at their best but also need to rise above and not let umpiring decisions effect their game
