Riding on a high from three wins in a row and sitting as league leaders, Tamworth ladies first went to rugby with the intention of keeping their fine form. Unfortunately, the youthful rugby side took control from the off, quickly going 2-0 up. Undeterred, Tamworth came back strong and fought on, close to scoring on a couple of occasions.
Starting the second half with high hopes, Tamworth did everything they could to level the score line and protect their unbeaten record. Unfortunately, rugby proved too strong and rugby went on to score four more, leaving the fill time score as 6-0 to rugby.
