A much changed Tamworth team started brightly but couldn’t find their rhythm and watched helplessly as Lichfield passed around them to score 2 before half time. A change in formation moving the sprightly Eden Collier to play in front of the back 3 seemed to work well but Tamworth struggled to link between midfield and the forwards. Alex Gayton showed sone great skills in midfield and youngsters Sophie Marshall and Nadia Williams gave a good account of themselves working hard all game. Lichfield scored a third from a well struck short corner as Tamworth failed to put the ball in the net at the other end. Collier was given Tamworth player of the match with her mum Jackie Casey picking up the league player accolade.
