Match Report

Tamworth started the brighter of the two teams with great passing moves in midfield between jess barker and Fiona wylie. Tara wylie  had another excellent game and scored a brilliant individual goal beating a number of defenders before firing into the back of the net.  Eden collier scored the second with a strong shot from the edge of the circle and Harriet Gilman popped in a third from close in.  Stone scored on the break just before half time to make it 3 1 at the interval.  Stone came out fighting in the second half and worked hard to get back into the game. Stone pulled a goal back whilst Tamworth were down to 10 after defender Paula cooper received a green card for politely questioning the umpires decision on giving a short corner.   Tamworth held on for the win.  League player of the match was Fiona wylie with Tara wylie and Eden collier sharing club player.
