Match Report | A mixed ladies 3rd/4th team travelled to Bloxwich on Saturday for the first freindly game of the season. Tamworth took time to settle as they struggled to keep possession and found themselves 1-0 down after only 10 minutes. The town side worked their way back into the game and were rewarded with two goals from Elaine Foxley and Di Milner to take the lead, Di Milner almost extended the lead but saw her penalty hit the post and the score remained 2-1 at the break. After the break Tamworth dominated with youngsters Emily and Jessica Barker, Tilly Bryan and Charlotte Hicks involved most of the towns good play, more goals from Charlotte Hicks (2) and Tilly Bryan completed the rout as the town side ran out comfortable winners. |
