Tamworth ladies 2nds faced a tough game against league leaders Streetly, Tamworth fought hard and delivered a strong result. Streetly opened the scoreline with a well drilled set piece. Tamworth responded with a goal from Bethany Sweet to bring the game level. Tamworth started the second half with fighting spirits and worked as a team to pressure the Streetly goal , resulting in a goal from Kate Barton, Tamworth looked a tough side and gave it all we had to ensure we got 3 points. Tamworth took a 2 goal lead with a spectacular shot from Sarah Arnold to leave it 3-1. The game finished 3-2. A very well deserved 3 points and team effort. Beth Sweet and Sarah Arnold were awarded players of the match. |
