Tamworth defence held strong in this must win game for the ladies seconds. Lucy plant and Kirsty wright marked the Cannock forwards out of the game and Sarah Hutchins swept up through the middle. Gemma wheelhouse and Paula cooper combined well in the middle to create chances for the non-stop forward line. Elaine foxley and Di Milner knocked the ball around beautifully for youngsters Elissa Morris, Hannah Jarvis and Harriet Gilman to run on to. The Cannock keeper had a great game making a number of crucial saves. Tamworth keeper Lisa Moore also made a couple of vital saves in the second half. Tamworth had a flick awarded in the second half after a great move by Foxley, Milner and Morris was saved on the line by a foot. Wheelhouse stood up to take the penalty but the keeper made an excellent save to keep the final score 0 - 0. League and club player of the game was Elissa Morris.
