Match Report | The first league game back after Christmas was a difficult one. Behind after only a minute Tamworth stayed positive and equalised just before half time from the aftermath of a short corner with Claire Miles hammering home from an Amy Hyde pass. Keeper Lisa Moore made a top class save tipping a high shot over to make sure the score was even going into the break. Dominant in the first 15 mins of the second half Tamworth should have scored and paid the price when Stone went ahead from a break. Tamworth kept pressing but could not find the goal and Stone scored twice more to make the final score 4 1 to them. Player of the match was defender Lucy Plant with the league player honors going to Claire Miles.
