Match Report | The ladies thirds hit top form on Saturday with an emphatic 7-0 win against Dudley. Claire Miles hit four goals with Di Milner, Chris Mander and Gaynor Dawson also on the score sheet. Tamworth dominated from the start with their midfield quartet of Vicky Sanford, Lesley Broadway, Claire Miles and Jo Bryan controlling the play, and had it not been for the opposition goal keeper the score could have been more as she made a series of excellent saves. It wasn’t until midway through the half that the deadlock was finally broken when Claire Miles opened the scoring and was soon followed by Di Milner to give the town a 2-0 half time lead. Tamworth continued to press forward in the second session as they hit five goals, Lesley Broadway, Di Milner and Jo Bryan all went close to adding to the score before Claire Miles hit a second half hat-trick with Chris Mander and Gaynor Dawson completing the rout sending the town side to the top of the table.
