Tamworth started well, keeping a bright lichfield side contained and having a few chances themselves.  Unfortunately a strong shot on goal by lichfield was deflected in by defender Becky Moore to give lichfield the lead.  A few minutes later Kirsty Wright equalised with a shot from the top of the circle but just before half time lichfield put in a second from a short corner.   After the break Tamworth went into meltdown and Lichfield capitalised on tamworths' poor play, scoring at will, to end the game 6 1 winners. player of the match for tamworth  was Fiona Wylie who never stopped running.
