Tamworth earned a well deserve point against Boots on Saturday and were unlucky not to pick up three. From the start of the game both teams were up for it and both played with high intensity, creating a very even match with chances coming at both ends of the pitch. Within a couple minutes of the second half, town were denied a goal by the Boots keeper after making an amazing save to stop Gemma Rowe smashing the ball into the back of the net. This gave the home side confidence and belief, and created numberous more chances but the ball could not find the back of the net. Both teams continued to keep a high intensity throughout and fought until the final whistle to both take a point. Player of the match went to Alex Gayton who had a great game upfront and Fiona Wylie who didn't stop running in midfield.
