Tamworth started the game well. Playing the ball around well with good pace & urgency, the hard work soon paid off when Claire Hicks made the keeper work hard to save a shot from close range but the keeper didn't keep Tamworth out for long as Claire hicks second attempt saw the ball lift into the back of Stouports net. Tamworth remained strong in their defence, and went into half time 1-0 up. The second half was a different game altogether, Stourport came back fighting & with some well drilled moves, saw themselves back in the game within 10 minutes. The home side continued to attack and work hard in defence but they couldn't keep Stourport out & the game suddenly went from Tamworth for them to concede 4. Player of the match went to Liz Mill who had a fantastic game in midfield.
