Tamworth had their first league game of the season away against Solihull Blossomfield. Tamworth went into the game knowing it wasn't going to be an easy game. Solihull are the best drilled team in the league and play aggressive well paced hockey throughout the game. Tamworth didn't give up and played well with having chances themselves that were missed at the back post. As much as Tamworths defence fought to keep Solihull out, they had 3 well worked goals, to see them gain three points. Tamworth took positives and negatives from the game and are looking to move forward next week against newly promoted Warwick. Player of the match went to Issy Hounsome.
