Match Report | The ladies thirds suffered a disappointing defeat against local rivals Lichfield on Saturday. The match was a scrappy affair with neither side able to keep any meaningful possession and chances were few and far between. Tamworth's best attack saw a fine run and cross from Hannah Jarvis set up Di Milner whose first time shot was superbly saved by the keeper. Both sides improved in the second half with more chances created, Lisa Moore made some good saves in goal and Wendy Garrett was outstanding at the heart of the towns defence. With the game heading for a draw Lichfield scored with the last hit of the game to secure all three points. League POM Lesley Broadway Team POM Wendy Garrett |
