Match Report | The ladies thirds faced Uttoxeter on Saturday and were disappointed that they only came away with a draw. A dominant performance saw the town's midfield quartet control the play, as they created many opportunities but found Uttoxeters goal keeper in fine form as she made a number of excellent saves. Di Milner finally broke the deadlock with a fantastic short corner strike. Tamworth continued to press forward in the second half looking to extend their lead, they had two shot cleared off the line with Elaine Foxley and Di Milner also going close. But an element of fortune gave Uttoxeter an equaliser when on a rare attack saw a shot deflect of a defenders stick into the goal with the keeper wrong footed. The town side re-took the lead when Claire Miles scored from a short corner and the town looked to be heading for all three points but a lack of concentration right at the death gave Uttoxeter a share of the spoils.
