| Match Report | The ladies thirds secured an impressive 3-1 win against Bloxwich on Saturday. Hannah Jarvis' persistency resulted in an early lead for Tamworth as her initial shot was saved by the keeper but then she reacted quickly to slot the rebound in the net. An excellent passing move through the centre of midfield led to the ball falling nicely to Jo Bryan who fired it into the back of the net to give the town a two nil lead. Bloxwich fought back in the 2nd half and finally broke through Tamworth's solid defence to get their goal. The last 15 minutes Tamworth remained resilient before a Di Milner shot from a short corner was deflected in by Vicky Butler sealing the victory with just seconds to go. Megan Hobden was POM |
