Match Report | The ladies thirds suffered a disappointing defeat to Leek on Saturday. Tamworth started poorly and were immediately put on the back foot as they struggled to keep any decent possession and Leek took full advantage of the towns poor play scoring three times to give them a commanding first half lead. The town side regrouped after half time with the defence looking more solid they withstood any Leek attack and started to enjoy more possession and play some good hockey; Di Milner gave Tamworth some hope with a fine goal early in the second half after some good play from Elaine Foxley, although more chances were created by the town side they were unable to capitalise on them and Leek ran out 3-1 winners.
