Tamworth Ladies Thirds Vs Tamworth 2

From the beginning Tamworth 2 had much of the possession and the majority of play was up in our half however Tamworth 3s battled hard with some great defensive work coming from the back. 

However by half time we where 2-0 down due to a couple of fantastic goals. 

After half time we really pulled it back making the score 2-1 due to a brilliant goal  by Chris Mander.

After this, our heads really came up and we played some brilliant hockey, especially coming from our midfield who read the ball well and pushed the ball up the pitch giving us many opportunities. 

Even though we were playing some brilliant hockey, Tamworth 2s make a good few break aways, which resulted in another 2 goals, one being a few seconds before the final whistle, resulting in the final score being 4-1 to Tamworth 2s. 

Player of the match was deservedly Hannah Male who played brilliantly, controlling the ball well and making some good runs. Well done.
