Tamworths first away game of the season saw them take on Boots. From the start Tamworth passed the ball around well creating numerous chances but failing to get the ball in the back of the net. The break through finally came due to continuous pressure & a well worked move to see Alex Banks score the only goal in the game. For the rest of the game Tamworth continued putting pressure on the home defence but failed to put the ball in the back of the net with hitting the post 2-3 times. Boots kept fighting & had numerous counter attacks but Tamworths defence was solid & dealt with any pressure. Man of the match went to a well deserved Charley Rowe.
