Match Report | The ladies thirds suffered their second league defeat to Bloxwich on Saturday. Unfortunately for the town side they started the game with only ten players and Bloxwich took full advantage of this to go 3-0 up before Tamworth’s extra player arrived. Di Milner pulled a goal back from a well worked short corner before Bloxwich added a fourth to go into the break with a commanding lead. To the towns credit they came back strongly in the second half enjoying more possession with youngsters Ella Turner, Ellie White and Hannah Male growing in confidence as the game went on, the town created a number of goal scoring opportunities with Claire Miles scoring a second for Tamworth. Bloxwich added a fifth goal to seal the win. League POM Ella Turner Team POM Gemma Wheelhouse |
