Tamworth went into their last friendly before league starts next week positively and with confidence from last weeks performance. From the start Cannock put a lot of pressure on the home side & after dealing with the pressure well, Cannocks attack eventually got the better of the home defence and scored their first. After going 2-0 down, the home side didn't give up & pulled one back with Claire Hicks scoring. However this didn't seem to unsettle Cannock & they scored their 3rd just before half time. The home side went into the second half determined to bring the game back, even though Cannock scored there fourth, the game was a game of two halfs. Tamworth fought hard & worked together well passing the ball around & making countless chances. Another goal from Claire hicks, & a fantastic reverse hit goal from captain Rebecca Popple brought the score to 3-4. Tamworth go into league next playing newly promoted Uttoxeter.
