Starting the game with only 8 players Tamworth Ladies Second XI moved the ball about well in this friendly fixture against Burton. Within 10 minutes they were down to 7 after Jackie Casey was struck in the face by the ball. Against the odds Tamworth scored through Chris Mander who converted from close range, Additional Tamworth players arrived and a now full strength Tamworth dominated. Fantastic running from Kirsty wright created great chances and Di Milner scored a scorcher from a really tight angle. Fiona Wylie made it three following strong midfield play at the end of the first half. Becky Popple created the fourth goal with a weaving run which Di Milner dispatched into the back of the net from close range. Popple scored herself to make it five before a great run from Izzy Hounsome and Alex Gayton resulted in Hounsome scoring a sixth.
